Beer Review: Fireside Chat: 21st Amendment Brewing

I’m not a huge fan of holiday beer. I was gifted a 12-pack of Shiner’s Holiday Cheer last year, and I used the majority of it as the beer I use to make pumpkin loaf!

21st Amendment Brewing’s Fireside Chat is a different story. This spiced ale might be a one and done but it warms your cockles like a big mug of warm apple cider.

Fireside Chat is a Dark English-style ale with a balance of spice,  and clove with a nice dark color. I plan on purchasing a case for our annual beer tasting here at Travel by Brewery. While I think that this is a great beer, I can really only drink one before I need to move onto something less heavy and spicy. For some reason every time I taste this brew I just want to grab a ginger bread cookie and dunk away!

This isn’t the only tasty brew introduced by San Francisco’s 21st Amendment Brewing. The brewery also churns out the delicious summer brew Hell or High Watermelon Wheat which can be enjoyed at barbecues.

Additionally, 21st Amendment has the incredibly strong Drunken Monk which is served on draft at their location in San Fran.

Fireside Chat can be purchased in cans at most beverage super stores like Bevmo and Total Wine & more.

Not only is Fireside Chat my favorite holiday beer but it is one of my top 3 beers. I absolutely adore this beer and look forward to its release every year. It would probably be smarter to stop drinking them after just one but I usually find myself devouring the whole 6 pack.
